Home of the celebrated Lily Blanche Memory Keeper Locket. "Love them - favourite pieces". Judy Murray Tennis Coach http://www.lilyblanche.com/ Charming, adventurous, authentic & stylish, the LILY BLANCHE Collection is designed to surprise and delight. Based in my studio in Stirling, I have taken inspiration from my grandmother, Lily Blanche Sheridan, a descendent of The School For Scandal playwright, Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Born in 1903, Lily Blanche lived an extraordinary life - travelling thousands of miles with her four small children, bringing them up in India in the last days of the Raj, and witnessing the rise of Gandhi. Returning to Britain in 1936, her home in Gosport, Hampshire took a direct hit during the Second World War. She relocated to Scotland with her family where she fell in love with the landscape. For much of her adult life, she lived in a picturesque, whitewashed croft on the beautiful, windswept Hebridean Island of Skye. Lily Blanche was a brilliant cook and a highly creative person who embroidered, sewed, knitted and crocheted to a professional level. She was highly influential in encouraging my creativity. I have fond childhood memories of rummaging through her jewellery and finding beautiful and exotic pieces from all over the world. Inspired by her jewel box, I have taken vintage designs and given them a modern twist by combining them with outstanding 21st century design. Many pieces open up to reveal a hidden secret and have caught the eye of high profile clients such as Judy Murray. LILY BLANCHE jewellery is imbued with meaning and hidden secrets. My aspiration is to create the heirlooms of tomorrow from the conversation pieces of today. Gillian Crawford
