Fourteen staff and board members accepted the award in Glasgow while attending the CEMVO 10th Anniversary dinner which included inspiring speeches and wonderful entertainment. A big thank you to CEMVO and congratulation to both our social enterprises, Rise & Shine Childcare and Wooden Spoon Catering Co, for their hard work which has been recognised nationally

Quiche, potato wedges and salad .... mmmm. That's next week's menu for our Wednesday Lunch Club. All women are welcome, it only costs £1.50, but this week we'd be greatful if you could let us know you're coming to make sure we have enough. Just give us a call on 462058. Hope to see you there

DIWC has signed up to the ‘You Can Change This’ campaign. This campaign highlights the hidden violence against women and the “right for women and girls to live in a community where they do not live in fear and oppression; where domestic abuse is not part of everyday life; where forced marriages are not socially accepted; and one where religion and culture are not misused to justify wrong-doing.” Join this campaign and be part of the change at www.changethis.org.uk. Violence against women thrives in a culture of silence, let’s break the silence.
