Description

I believe we are desperate to be both known and loved completely. Most of our experience, however, tells us this is impossible. How could anyone who truly knows me still love me? What kind of love am I really experiencing if they love me but don't know the truth about me? I believe our stories take shape in how we try (and often fail) to reconcile this seeming paradox. I am honored to walk with individuals, couples and families as we face the chaos and complexities of grief and loss, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. My theoretical approach is Eclectic, founded primarily on family systems, narrative therapy and attachment-based therapy. I hold a Master's of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University, and am working toward licensure under the supervision of Sara Hopkins, Ph.D., LMFT.
