Description
Dr. Pate was born and raised in the Triangle area of North Carolina. After graduating from UNC-CH he served two years in the Peace Corps. He returned to UNC-CH where he earned a Master’s degree in Public Health. He worked seven years as an environmental scientist in the Research Triangle Park before persuing a career in Optometry. Dr. Pate is a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society and the Eastern District Optometric Society.
