East Side Transmission Service offers a full complement of automotive repair services for most makes and models of cars and light trucks. While the company is well know for its transmission diagnostics, rebuilds, and replacements, it also offers the following services: -Oil Changes -Check Engine Light -Preventative Maintanence -4-Wheel Drive Transfer Cases -Battery Replacement -Brake Repair & Service -Differentials: Front & Rear Drive Lines -Electrical System -Engine Diagnostics & Service -Exhaust Systems & Muffler Repair -Fluid Service -Fuel System -Suspensions, Shocks & Struts -Radiator & Coolant System Services The company was established in 1984 by Randy Schepp. The business started to grow and Darren Miller was hired in June 1985. Over the following 30+ years, the shop established an excellent repuration and Darren went on to become an ASE Master Certified Techician and is now the General Manager. The shop's great reputation is the result of personal attention and quality workmanship that is consistently given to the vehicles and their owners. In 2015, Randy decided to call it a career. the next chapter of East Side Transmission Service comes under the ownership of lifelong Madison area residents Brian & Claire Johnson. They are committed to running a small business the way it ought to be run: build a great team, deliver exceptional quality, treat each customer with honesty, integrity, and fairness, and be a good corporate citizen of the community. The business is now the largest transmission facility in the Madison area with six bays.
