Hello, I'm Carly. I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and a doula. I started my journey as a doula on the 'mom' side. I was supported by a doula at my second child's birth center arrival. I chose to have a home birth with my next baby, again utilizing a doula. I began my DONA birth doula training and education, and now work with families as a doula in the East Valley at their hospital, birth center, and home births. Birth is an unpredictable journey, and the team you choose to accompany you on your travels is a decision to carefully weigh. As your doula, I respect your decisions, support your body and mind, and act as your limitless resource. I continually seek information, education, and training to expand my knowledge base and skill set as a doula. My desire to pursue excellence strengthens my role as a commodity for families seeking support during pregnancy, childbirth, and in the postpartum period. Personally speaking, I swear by the power of a good nap, or at the very least, a visit to Starbucks. I enjoy books, birth, belly laughs, and seeing a dog riding in a car with its head sticking out of the window. I love my family, my friends, and smiling at strangers.
