Mission: To manage and enhance public parking and facilitate development for a vibrant community. Vision: ACDA is a conduit for responsible development and convenient, safe parking services in the Municipality of Anchorage. ACDA will act as a catalyst for, and investor in, projects that help implement the economic and community development goals of the Anchorage community as expressed in our community plans and initiatives. Guiding Principles: ACDA will not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, marital status, or physical/mental disability. We will always maintain integrity, accountability and transparency in our systems and processes. We will seek opportunities on public or private development projects that insure a component of public benefit. We will be fiscally sound providing for long-term financial sustainability and return on investment. We will be proactive in seeking opportunities to align with the adopted plans and initiatives of the Municipality. We will be creative in funding projects by leveraging financial opportunities available to public entities. We will minimize direct competition with the private sector.
