I started playing hockey at the early age of 5 years old. Full of energy, I always had to find a way to stay active and enjoy it at the same time. I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta although I spent a lot of time away travelling and living away while playing competitive hockey. As a goaltender, I played my first two years of junior hockey in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) for the St. Albert Saints. In my rookie year, with the Saints, I shared with my counterpart the Kim Marsh Trophy as the AJHL leading team goalies. We combined for a team GAA of 2.93 as we finished with the lowest goals-against in the AJHL at 190. I moved on to play my final year of junior hockey in the American West Hockey League (AWHL) for The Fernie Ghostriders. With another successful year many opportunities opened up for me to further my hockey career. A potential to play overseas as well as college hockey presented itself. At the end of my season, I was involved in a car accident where I was struck by a drunk driver. Unfortunately, the injuries I sustained kept me away from playing competitive hockey ever again. Searching for many ways to heal my pains only returned a short-term relief. I found out this is where my love of strength training was born and I’ve spent years in the gym understanding how to target specific results. Becoming a personal trainer was a no brainer for me as I was learning weight loss, muscle mass and how to recover from my injury at the same time. To spend my days in the gym helping people become healthy, strong and confident is one of life’s most rewarding goals. I have the privilege of training at Athlete’s Nation located in St. Albert, Alberta. There will be NO MEMBERSHIP AT ANY TIME to train with me at the specialty club. Canada's premier athletic performance center has a full weight room as well a running track and specialty equipment that you will not find at your community gym. The exclusive setting allows us to have the space and privacy needed to help you feel confident in and comfortable during your time.
