About Elizabeth Knudson, founder of Eccentric Wool: Ms. Knudson is a composer and cellist, who has been knitting as a hobby ever since her grandmother taught her how, at the age of five. She loves making items that are functional, funky and one-of-a-kind. Each piece is designed and handmade with care. Some of her favourite fibres to work with include wool, alpaca, and bamboo. She loves undyed, natural wool, but also really enjoys working with bright and bold colours. She likes to use vintage and handmade buttons and findings as well, so that each woolly creation is truly unique.
