Description

Extracurricular activities can become quite costly for families. This hits middle- and low-income families the hardest. As a result, many of these children are unable to afford to participate in extracurricular activities. As students who have had the privilege of experiencing extracurricular activities, we want all children to have the opportunity to experience the same. Through the our organization, ECSE (founded by Suffolk University students), we will be providing free music, arts, and sports lessons for anyone in need. We want to eliminate the stress and hassle of financing/funding a child's developmental outlets. There will be no cost to the children or their families. We want them to understand the importance of extracurricular activities to a child's growth and development without having to pay for it.
