Description
A week long intensive, hands-on course delivered by the cream of Scottish jazz musicians and educators, led by Edinburgh Napier University's Jazz Musician in Residence, Haftor Medbøe. We welcome instrumentalists age 14 and above of all abilities and experience. The streamed curriculum includes practical approaches to theories of improvisation, instrumental master classes, ear training and ensemble work, culminating in a concert at a city centre venue as part of the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival. Students are offered complimentary tickets to nightly selected concerts promoted by our Festival partners.
