Description

All ellagee polishes are hand crafted in small batches with care and attention to detail. They are made with only high-quality components and are free of Toluene, Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Camphor, and Formaldehyde Resin (5-free). This is not only a page to showcase my shop, but a place to connect with other nail polish lovers like myself for sharing photos, tips, and ideas. Welcome! About me: I'm a wife and a mom of four kids and five rescue dogs. My husband puts 29 candles on my birthday cake every year and that's all I'm gonna say about my age. I do have 3 (almost 4) teenagers though so you can do the math if you must. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked as an RN in neuro and orthopedic surgery for 10 years before I left to be a stay at home mom when my third child was born. I also spent several years taking care of first my father, and then my mother in our home as they dealt with and eventually passed away from Alzheimer's disease and heart disease. I had planned to go back into nursing and probably still will at some point, but over the years my Fibromyalgia and chronic headaches reached a level where it wasn't really practical for now so I started looking for something I could do from home. I've always had a nail polish addiction and have a rather ridiculously large collection. I loved to mix different polishes to see what i could come up with, and that led me into buying the raw materials so I could really make what I wanted. From that, there came ellagee polish! I'm loving this so much, I so enjoy being creative and providing a unique, quality product all while staying home with my family. I owe it all to you beautiful people, thank you for supporting me! I'm so peeved at myself for having to delay these orders, I promise to keep you updated and make it up to those of you who are waiting longer than expected. Here's what is affected by my little supply flub unless you've already received a shipping notice... Now Shall You Deal With ME Whoever Has The Gold Makes The Rules Whoa, Is My Hair Out? Cempasúchil Aloha Isle Boo You Whore Today I sent out most of the regular orders through last Thursday and the pre-orders that don't contain any of those and the rest will go out tomorrow. The naughty ingredient that I ran out of shipped late this afternoon, so I'm hoping to get it Thursday at the latest. Thank you for your lovely patience! I intend to be caught up before Friday's pre-order unless it doesn't get here when I think it will, so if you want an open order held to combine with any of the TFIOS polishes please let me know.

Well the brain fog has thrown a wrench in my plans. I do my best to stay on top of my supplies and order before something is gone, but I've managed to run out of an ingredient that I use in several things. I've rush ordered it but if your order contains pre-orders of anything orange, yellow, or green it might be delayed. I've gotten some of it made but not all. Shipping will still start tomorrow as planned, but any pre-orders that don't ship by Wednesday will have an extra goodie for the trouble.

I've been quiet but that doesn't mean I'm not busy! Everything not including a pre-order through Wednesday is out the door. I'm plugging away at the pre-orders and plan to get all through Wednesday in the mail on Monday and then forward from there. Thanks so much for your support, I hope you'll love your orders!

So by now you know that the polishes knock on the inside of my skull relentlessly until I make them, which means I have must-make-all-the-polish-osis. So here's a little info on the excessive amount of stuff I have coming up... 1. Pre-order for the Villainous Holo-ween and Dia De Los Muertos collections continues through this Friday morning, September 12, so if you want them at a discount and with the bonus cutesy wootsy bracelet, now's the time! Pre-orders are scheduled to start shipping on Friday but it might actually end up being Monday if the weather that's sitting on me like an elephant doesn't let up. 2. Monday, September 22 I have a five piece collection coming inspired by the beautiful novel, The Fault In Our Stars, more info on that and photos coming very soon! 3. I have several odds and ends that might form into collections or might just be released willy nilly in late September or October, you never know. 4. Big plans for the holiday season in the works! Details are still coming together but pre-order will begin on November 1 because I'll be in DISNEY WORLD for 2 weeks in December! The shop will have limited stock set on pre-order from December 1-18 so make your plans for holiday gifts early! During this time I'll have some brand new LE New Year's Eve polishes on pre-order that will ship as soon as I get back so you'll have them in time. 5. There's a couple more surprise events and collaborations that will be in the mix too but I can't tell you about those yet :)

So the awesome little store in town where I buy the silk gift boxes in my shop is closing. Good news, 50% off everything and I got some great racks for my stock bottles! Bad news, out of the silk boxes. So what's in stock will be the end of them unless I track them down elsewhere.

Do you guys like matte finish polishes or are you good with just a matte topcoat?

I have several orders ready to go but PayPal is giving me the spinning wheel of doom so they might not make it today.

I'm taking a short break tomorrow to go play with clay and glitter and hair color and a baby donkeycorn with my friend, Raph from Digital Nails. Everything except custom items through 2/17 has been shipped and shipping will resume on Monday. Have a great weekend, beautiful people!

I haven't forgotten that I promised to add an Aquamarine duo to the Sparkling Gemstones collection for you March babies! One of the glitters I need is on the way to me so it'll still be a little bit before it's ready, but it's coming!
