We may be closed until the summer, but we're still making news as a top seafood restaurant! This Q&A with local foodie and author of "Seafood Lover’s Pacific Northwest" cover overlooked local spots, what sets the PNW apart from other regions for seafood, and more. bit.ly/1v4hoG1
Happy Halloween! Who's looking forward to Oyster New Year tomorrow?
Our thoughts and prayers are with the community of Marysville-Pilchuck High School at this time. We are terribly saddened to hear of today's tragedy.
Elliott's Oyster House & Cafe 56 are closed due to the waterfront construction until June, but we're looking forward to the sold out Oyster New Year event hosted at Bell Harbor (Elliott Hall) – Pier 66 on the waterfront. *All proceeds benefit the Puget Sound Restoration Fund.
Elliott’s Oyster House and Café 56 will be temporarily closed for 9 months now through June 30, 2015 along with other businesses on Pier 54, 55, 56 and part of 57. After much consideration with the partnership of other waterfront businesses we felt it best to let the seawall construction project complete with as little disruption as possible rather than stage the process over 2-3 years. The collaborative decision made by waterfront businesses to close will allow workers to complete the seawall project in a quick and safe way rather than if these businesses remained opened. We look forward to serving our guests when we reopen Elliott’s Oyster House and Café 56 on July 1, 2015. In the meantime we recommend making your reservation at the Metropolitan Grill - Seattle -- Seattle’s premier steakhouse, which is located on the corner of Second Avenue and Marion Street at 820 Second Avenue. The Met is just a few blocks away from the major downtown hotels and in close proximity to Benaroya Hall, and the CLINK, home of the Seattle Seahawks! They are open for dinner 7 nights a week and lunch Monday through Friday. Valet parking is offered after 4:30pm every night. For more information and to make your reservation, please visit TheMetropolitanGril.com or call 206-624-3287.
