elysiumgallery was established in 2007 and now provides 60 creative spaces over 3 venues in Swansea City centre for an eclectic range of practitioners including visual fine artists, photographers, illustrators, designers, writers and much more. elysiumgallery currently provides 12 studios and a gallery space at 16 College Street and 13 studios at 2 Mansel Street. elysiumgallery also runs 35 studio spaces, a gallery/test bed space, communal library & research areas and artist residency programmes on the upper floor of the Old Iceland building on Swansea High Street. We also run various offsite exhibitions and events both locally, nationally and internationally. elysiumgallery seeks to foster a collaborative and participatory experience creating a vibrant and creative community in Swansea. We aim to create the framework for a world of ideas and inspiration which will feed into the regeneration of Swansea City centre. Increasingly elysiumgallery is working in partnership with other galleries and art colleges to create programmes that meet the needs of artists and recent graduates. Collaboration is key to the elysiumgallery exhibitions & studios project and we will always seek innovative ways to bring together all those with a desire to create and share.
