My name is Sherrie Kleinholz and I am a licensced Mental Health Therapist LPCC. It is my dream to open my own private practice in January 2016 to help those struggling with trauma, addiction and all mental health needs. I have a special place in my heart for those who serve(d) in the military, work to serve others such as police officers, fire fighters, and those struggling with addiction. Counseling services can be expensive like all medical costs. This is espcially difficult for for those who need it the most and cannot afford it. Many of our veterans are homeless, do not make enough money to afford counseling services they truly need, or are faced with the stigma of reaching out for mental health services. Mr. Jeff Lucey who is pictured on my Go Fund Me site and served our country was my inspiration for offering a sponsorship program. I would like to get it up and operational sooner than later because everyday that goes by is another day that someone is struggling with the help they desperately need. Therefore I am reaching out to others to help my dream come true which is to be able to serve others. You can sponsor a veteran, fire fighter, police officer, or another individual who serves our community with your donations! For every $1, 000.00 that is raised I will offer 20 free counseling sessions for an individual who serves our community! The typical cost for a counseling session runs anywhere from $ 100-150 a session. Through your donations you would be helping others to get the help they need and serving others who also serve you. In addition, I will also be offering counseling services at a reduced rate for ALL my patients because I believe that serving others is my calling (rate to be determined). At this time I do not take insurance but I am working to get on various insurance panels but this takes time. In addition, anyone who donates funds to this great cause will have their name (or you can choose to have a name in honor of someone else) on the leaf of the giving tree on my office wall.
