Description

Hi my name is Emily and I am a childminder based in Morecambe. I gave up teaching in adult education in July 2015 to become a minder so that I could get back to working with young children, something which I thoroughly enjoy. I have 6 years experience of working in a local nursery and several years experience of teaching in Primary schools and Colleges. I am a Mum to 2 children, both of whom attend Torisholme Community Primary School so I will be available to drop off and pick up from there. My opening hours are 7.30-6pm although I can be flexible with this depending on parents needs. Until recently myself and my children lived in Torrisholme but we have now moved in with my parents at Fairfield Park - the housing estate behind Macdonald's drive through. We have created a separate play room with it's own toilet and there is a downstairs bedroom which can be used for nap times. The children will also have access to the lounge and dining room. We also use the kitchen for baking sessions. My mission is to provide a home from home environment where children will be happy, safe, and loved so that they can play, develop and learn new things in a fun way
