Hi my name is Nikki Shedden. I am a Holistic Therapist Specialising in Reflexology and Indian head Massage. My qualifications include VTCT, QCF Diploma in Reflexology and VTCT Level 3 in Indian Head Massage. I am fully insured and a member of Federation of Holistic Therapist along with being part of the Complementary Therapies Network. After qualifying I now practice both Reflexology and Indian Head Massage and I am amazed with the power of these treatments on the whole body, state of mind and energy levels of clients, I have also been blown away to witness how reflexology can be beneficial when working with medical problems working alongside general medicine and that Indian Head Massage can help ease the mind. I have always believed in the holistic approach and I will be expanding further in holistic treatments as I am currently studying Crystal Therapy, Aromatherapy and Stone Therapy. Reflexology Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexologists work holistacally with their clients and aim to work alongside allopathic healthcare to promote better health for their clients. Well trained reflexologists do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. Reflexology is a very individual treatment which is tailored to you as a whole person, taking into account both physical and non-physical factors that might be affecting your well-being. Some people find it works for them – some don’t. The best way to find out is to try it! Indian Head Massage There are many physical and emotional benefits to regular Indian Head Massage. Indian Head Massage will soothe away stress and tension, leaving you relaxed, revitalised and energised and it is a very popular treatment, perfect for promoting a calm mind, a stress-free body and for maintaining optimum health. Indian Head Massage feels good; it is relaxing and has a positive effect on the mind, nervous system, circulation and muscles in the neck and shoulders.
