Description
The United States is currently facing an energy crisis. The way we are using our natural resources is not sustainable with more than 85% of our energy coming from non-renewable fossil fuels. Also, roughly 40% of the nation's total energy use goes to the heating, cooling and electricity use of our buildings. However, much of this energy use is wasted due to energy inefficiency of our buildings which could be reduced through weatherization. Energy Service Corps is an organization with the goal of improving energy efficiency and reducing energy use here in Wisconsin.

The Goodman Community Center is a private nonprofit, serving people of all ages from all walks of life. The Goodman Community Center currently houses a preschool, 4-year-old kindergarten, afterschool programs for all ages (including countywide Girls Inc.), an alternative high school, an older adult program, food pantry and a fitness center. We also rent our rooms out to individuals, private corporations and community groups on a daily basis.
