A counselling service which is high quality, affordable and accessable for those who need it. Our costs are normally £35 per hour.

Description

I am a BACP registered, experienced counsellor. I use the Person Centred Approach as my core model of work, however, my work is integrative, which means that I draw from a variety of theoretical approaches and models to support the development of our work together. I strive to offer empathy, unconditional positive regard and a non-judgmental relationship, looking to understand how you experience yourself and your life. I offer counselling to those over the age of 18 from all walks of life. I do have experience of working with members of the Armed Forces and their families and understand the complexities and struggles associated with this lifestyle. I would see you in your home, during the evening. By seeing you in your home I believe provides you with the safety, security and comfort that you need to enhance the therapeutic process. All sessions are confidential. If for some reason you cannot see me at your home I will look for a venue. This might add to the cost of the service. I receive ongoing professional supervision, during which I discuss how I am working and how I can best support the you. Supervision is also confidential. I attend regular CPD training and events keeping my knowledge upto date with research and best practice. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Registration No 129940) and also hold a current registered (online Database) enhanced DBS Certificate. Managing Enigma Counselling Service is Tina Free. Tina is also a qualified and experienced counsellor and has worked in this field for 20 years. In addition to managing Enigma, Tina has her own private Counselling Practice, teaches the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at the City of Bristol College, and also provides counselling supervision to counsellors which helps counsellors to offer the best service for their clients. Here are some issues that people find themselves trying to manage and which counselling can help: Anxiety, Depression, Abuse, Childhood pain, Gender issues, Loss, Bereavement, Heart break, Loneliness, Low self-esteem, Relationship struggles, Life transitions- Children leaving home, Caring for parents, Career transitions, Work related issues, Bullying.
