"The Gay Bar" More than a place to meet, to socialize or to find potential partners. It serves as a sanctuary…a safe space for LGBT. A place to make friends and chosen family who understand and can relate. Somewhere everyone is free to be themselves without the feeling of being observed and watched for being “different” A personal LGBT social institute of higher education. From gay culture, gay slang, a sense of community responsibility and passing of traditions. The traditions and culture which have been earned and fought so deeply to establish.
