Description

First created back in 2010 by Leanne Foxwell, Everyman is back for one night only at The Real Mary King's Close! Exploring 21st century issues of its medieval counterpart Foxwell's adaptation attempts to explore the concerns of the 21st century. An individualistic culture that appears desperate to cling to youth and beauty, is increasingly obsessed with the accumulation of wealth, where commodity fetishism is rife and success is often defined by fame and reputation. Through one man's attempt to ignore all disturbances and define what he has achieved in his own life Everyman must come face to face with the ultimate distraction.
