Karen Viccica is a Massage Therapist and Reiki Master who also has certification in many types of meditation. She has had many jobs in the past but never a passion. With Massage Therapy, Reiki and helping others discover the health benefits of meditation that is exactly what she has found. There was a time in her life where she found herself a divorced single mother struggling to keep it together. Her life was busy (working after being a stay at home mom for 10 yrs, learning to be a single parent and furthering her education) focused on her next task, always in survival mode never stopping to notice the true beauty and blessings of life. Then one day Karen's mom (who unbeknown to Karen had already began her own journey back to her true self) weary of watching Karen struggle through all the unhappiness began to explain to her the benefits she had gained through meditation. She also gave her a book she credited for helping her make these life altering changes and stressed it was vital that Karen also learn the techniques described within the pages of this book. Karen began to read the book and put it's teachings into practice along with daily meditation and her life began to change. What she discovered is...We have all the power! Karen wanted to shout it from the rooftops, tell every person she saw, "I changed my life and so can you." Three years ago Karen moved to Richmond Hill and all her hard work began to pay off. She met wonderful people who brought amazing opportunities into her life. She has now left behind the hubbub of fax machines, ringing phones and never-ending piles of papers needing to be filed for Massage Therapy, Reiki and helping others manage stress though meditation. Massage Therapy and Reiki have become the medium in which Karen uses to share her journey with others. She has learned that she has a love and gratitude for all people and has a true desire to serve. Karen's practice is more than just a job. It is a passion and a lifestyle. Karen said "If i can help one person change their life, evolve into a more Christ minded consciousness and look past the physical body to see the light within then I have found my purpose."
