General Info

Our diverse membership includes two charter firms. They are: First Hawaiian Bank and Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki. Member firms are the mainstay of this dynamic organization, providing business contacts one may otherwise not have such access to. EWI is an organization that brings together key individuals from diverse businesses for the purpose of: •Connections – Promoting member firms and offering networking capabilities locally, nationally and internationally; •Careers – Offering opportunities for both personal and professional development; and •Community – Offering scholarship opportunities to high school seniors and transitional college students to better their education and their lives; and to serve our local communities through other philanthropic endeavors. In the last two years, EWI of Honolulu awarded $44,000 in scholarships to deserving students. They went to outstanding high school seniors through our Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP) and to our Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) scholarship program, a program based on financial need for adult students in various tracks of their pursuit of higher education. This year the EWI Scholarship Program will award high school seniors. Our monthly dinner meetings are generally held on the second Wednesday of each month with the exception of December when it is the first Wednesday. Please see our monthly newsletters, EWI Connect, Honolulu Edition for updated meeting information and the latest EWI news.
