I got into the cake business because I couldnt get cakes that i was happy with. Well my wife and I came from large families as you know that means lots of birthdays. She always took charge of planning each function, which included getting the cakes.
It’s was always a task in finding something that would please me, so I decided to try my hands at doing them myself. I took lesson at local craft stores; representative from England came into town to teach how to use fondant. And many year of trying knew techniques. I started with just birthday cakes then, had a request for wedding cake which scared me to think of doing something so special. But, they would not take no for and answer. I did lots of research before taking the challenge. The wedding cake was a big hit and this couple is still married today.
