Buchan Department of Mining The Faculty offers a common first year with unconstrained discipline choice after first year - a feature unique to Queen's that provides a strong foundation for our students, as well as the opportunity for students to explore their passion for engineering. Graduate study includes a number of MEng, MASc, and PhD degrees within our programs.
