Description

As anyone who's a parent knows, parenting can be stressful, exhausting, frustrating lonely and isolating - while also being the most wonderful and rewarding thing you ever do. Add a premmie baby (or for many parents, several premmie babies) into the mix and your life as you knew it is literally turned upside down. Only other parents who've lived through the agony of leaving their tiny newborn baby behind in hospital when they've gone home can really understand what you're going through. And for many parents, life can be just as exhausting, lonely and isolating when you finally get to take your precious bub home. The aim of this page is to facilitate a caring, supportive, online community for parents (particularly premmie parents), an extended online "family" in a society where many of us no longer have access to extended family networks and where many of us don't live in the same town/state/country as our families. This page will have a strong focus on premmie issues, but it will also deal with other more general pregnancy, parenting, household and health issues etc that are relevant to all parents.
