For three days over the second weekend in February, Launceston’s usually serene City Park plays host to Festivale, an event that attracts people from all over the world. Festivale is a celebration of Tasmania’s striving for excellence and is a weekend not to be missed. What started off as a multicultural street party event 30 years ago has been transformed into an iconic, award winning Tasmanian event which draws people together to enjoy the best food, wine, beer. and cider Tasmania has to offer. The February scheduling of Festivale takes advantage of the most settled and enjoyable weather conditions experienced in Northern Tasmania.
