Fine Lines is a literary journal dedicated to supporting creative writers with a summer camp program each year for all ages. http://finelines.org/
What started out as a classroom project is now a fifty-state network of authors who love the written word and have the support of a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. The first issue was only four pages long and allowed students an opportunity to show others outside their classroom the results of clear thinking and written expression. Now, four times a year, Fine Lines is 200 plus pages of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry written by students, teachers, and community members of all ages. We receive prose articles of medium length, reflective essays on widely diverse topics including authors’ life experiences and what individuals learn through the writing process and poetry in all forms from students in schools across the nation, plus Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Dubai, Ireland, Japan, Switzerland, and Thailand. Writers of all ages and occupations are encouraged to submit to Fine Lines. We have printed poetry by an eight-year old third grader and several pieces by a ninety-year old great, great grandmother. We printed the work of students, janitors, doctors, lawyers, ministers, truck drivers, nurses, and scientists.
