My name is Emma and I love a good party. Firefly is just starting out and over the coming months and probably years, will evolve and grow. So if there is something you'd like that isn't mentioned please get in touch. A bit about me, I used to be a holiday rep in Gran Canaria and Portugal. I worked in a large all inclusive family complex and then a large all inclusive "Golden Times" complex. So whatever your age, whatever your reason for hosting a party, I'm confident Firefly can provide you with a party to be remembered for all the right reasons. Kids Parties Last 2 hours. You provide the venue, the party food and the kids and I provide noise and music, disco lights and good old fashioned party games. There's prizes and sweeties and no one is ever "out". Party games will change from party to party but will normally include pass the parcel, musical statues or bumps and my own What Does The Fox Say game. As a rule I provide about 10 prizes and 2 bigger pass the parcel prizes. I try and run game after game after game with very little down time in the middle. £70 for a mid-week (Mon-Thur) 2 hour party. £85 at the weekend. If you want a longer party, 4-5 hour parties cost £120. My aim is to offer value for money fun, so please get in touch with your budget and we can discuss the details. **As a special starting up offer, I'm offering 10% off all bookings made before June 2014** **I'm also going to give away a free party at 500 likes, so please continue to like and share my page** NEW - Cupcake creating. Working alongside Cakes by Jodie-Anne, all the kids attending the party will be provided with a cupcake and be supervised while they decorate it with coloured icing and different sprinkles. The cakes will be wrapped in a presentation box and named for your child to collect either as a party bag or alongside a party bag to take home and enjoy. A minimum of 20 children. £30 for the first 20 children and then £1.50 per child thereafter. We can do biscuits or cake pops if you prefer. We could also do this as an stand alone event, as part of your wedding celebrations or as part of a fun day or charity event. Please message so we can work out a price. Pre-party Parties Start the party at home before moving into town. I have a compact disco set up that fits into most living rooms (there's a couple of photos on my page or ring for a chat). Normally planned from 7.30pm until 9.30pm, invite your friends and have a few drinks before heading out. Leave me a key, I'll pack up, wash your glasses and lock up before posting the key back. Save a fortune on pub booze prices and still have a cracking night out. £50 for your 2 hour living room disco. Hen Parties Pretty much the same as above but with party games and general silliness. £70 for your 2 hour Hen party including games with prizes of the rude and/or alcoholic variety. I'm looking at adding Karaoke to the above packages, please message me if this is something you'd be interested in. Poker Parties I'm not a gambling wizz and there's no chance I'm winning the Poker Championships but I wanted to come up with something to liven up a dull evening or as an idea for a teenagers party. So you provide the table, the nibbles (only one syllable if you listen to Joey from Friends) and the players. I'll provide the poker lesson, the cards and chips and a prize for the chip leader. We'll go at a pace that all players can understand and follow. There's no gambling and no money will be wagered. It's just a fun poker lesson with a prize for whichever player ends the night with the most chips. Parties will last for about 2 hours and cost £50. Suitable for 4 - 8 guests around 1 table. Please message me if you'd like me to leave behind the chips and cards so you can continue to play into the night. I'll mainly be covering the West Cumbria Area, I live in Cockermouth so the prices include me travelling approximately 20 miles to attend a party. I am happy to travel a further but there will be an extra fee to cover fuel costs. I'm originally from Lancaster, so I could be persuaded to come down and attend parties in that area, sometimes with no extra fuel costs.
