After a big comeback loss, 14-9, on the front end of last night's double header, the FUMC Flying Angels walloped to victory 27-0, which hopefully is a sign of things to come. They stand 1-1 on the season in third place. NEXT GAME: 6:30pm, 5/20 at Bowman Field #3
ATTENTION! Newly scheduled for tomorrow: FUMC sanctuary will be open for personal prayer and meditation on Tuesday, May 12 from 2:30 until 5:00 p.m. in response to District Attorney Ismael Ozanne’s decision regarding investigation into the death of Tony Terrel Robinson. No matter the decision, the leadership of our congregation is increasingly aware of disparities in our city, county and nation. Plans for conversations and efforts to address these disparities are being coordinated. We pledge to be part of the ongoing efforts of praying for peace and working for justice.

Rev. J. Manny Santiago serves as the Executive Director of The Crossing Campus Ministry in Madison, WI. His ministry is critical to students and many others. FUMC: Madison is honored to support that ministry. In light of the recent events in Orlando, Manny was invited to publish a note with Believe Out Loud. He has given us permission to post the link in both Spanish http://www.believeoutloud.com/latest/cuando-nuestros-santuarios-son-desacrados and in English http://www.believeoutloud.com/latest/when-our-sanctuaries-are-desecrated
So proud of Jacob Rodgers for who he is and props for working at ASP as a center director! Thank you FUMC for helping support our youth ministry and provide nurturing experiences like our mission trips that continue to shape lives and the directions they go, even years down the road.
