Focus is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and related problems. Focus provides objective testing and medical treatment as well as behavior modification strategies to help our patients transform from frustration to focus. At Focus-MD we are committed to quality medical care that ensures plenty of time with a Board Certified Physician and FDA cleared testing to make a precise diagnosis. If that diagnosis is ADHD, we are prepared to start helping the same day with evidence based treatment options. If the diagnosis isn’t clear, or the symptoms are due to another condition, we’ll help find the resources you need. We practice according to the latest professional guidelines, but we individualize our care for each patient. ADHD patients share a number of characteristics, but no two are alike. We are committed to the whole person. The evaluation begins before your first visit. Our staff will walk you through the process of getting the rating forms and assessments we need. At the first visit you will spend approximately an hour with the doctor so that he/she can take a careful history and perform a physical examination. Computer assisted testing will be done as well so the entire visit will last 1 to 2 hours. Before you leave the first visit, your doctor will review the findings, make a preliminary diagnosis and provide a treatment plan.
