Darryl “FollowtheDj” Dungee AKA Mr. Turn the Heat Up; was born and raised on the tough streets of Baltimore City Maryland. No stranger to obstacles, music helped him to cope with the many tough–turning moments in his childhood. His love for music began at the age of 10, where the ever presence of industry artists like Toni Braxton, Me2U and Prophet Jones were nearby because of his godfather’s music writer career. It was then that he learned about melody, bpm (beats per min), base lines, and drums. Listening to music turned into a passion, but creating music evolved into an outlet. At the early age of 15, FollowtheDj “the brand” was born. With over a decade of grinding, FollowtheDj has produced an undeniable brand and follow ship.
