HOURS: Our Adoption Center is closed Mondays and open Tues-Fri 12:00-5:30 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 11:00-3:00 and until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Our General Business Office is open Mon-Fri 11-5:30 and until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Animal Care & Control is a city public safety department. We are guided by the humane ethic and livability issues within neighborhoods to ensure public safety as well as prevent pet overpopulation, animal neglect, and animal cruelty through education, rescue, and law enforcement.

General Info
A full service law enforcement and public safety department serving people and animals within the City of Fort Wayne. Our shelter needs your help to protect and care for the over 12,000 homeless and neglected animals that we receive each year from our community. With your support, we can offer them the loving care they deserve. We greatly need charitable donations to our medical fund, adoption fund or Angel fund to save lives. You can also help by donating canned food, cat litter, dog chew bones and toys. To join our team as a volunteer, print an application from our website at www.FWACC.org. While you're there, take a look at our events and the wonderful things we do for both people and animals in our community. This is a page for our supporters.
