I started off in the building trade as a framing carpenter. I discovered that I liked working with wood and decided to move in the direction of finishing carpentry. To that end, I enrolled in woodworking courses and started making furniture for family and friends as a hobby. My finished pieces were well received which encouraged me to start my business 4th Element in fine woodworking. I offer custom solid wood furniture that is well made with great attention to detail achieved through a good eye, good tools, and exacting patience.
