Description

Frayser Community Schools will be opening its first high school, MLK Prep, at the Frayser High Campus in August 2014. MLK Prep’s mission is to prepare students for success in college, career, and their community by providing a rigorous academic program with embedded supports and an emphasis on discipline, character, and service. The school’s name pays homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as his ideals will be used to teach students how to think, make good decisions, serve others, and, as a result, reset the expectations within the community.
