Santacon is the spirit of Christmas roaming the streets with a penchant for shenanigans and libations. Don't just show up in a hat! This is Santacon! So for the love of Rudolph wear a Santa costume (or something Christmas-y)! Get a Santa suit. Buy a Santa suit. Make a Santa suit.Everyone else will be wearing a costume of some sort and we don't want you to feel lame. Get creative with your costume make modifications! Pirate Santa, Super Santa, James Bond Santa, Biker Santa, Doctor Santa,Samurai, Hanukkah Harry, Sugar Plum Fairy, Reindeer, Terminator Reindeer, Elf...you get the idea.  If asked, here are some helpful answers you may offer the general public: Q:Who's in charge? A: Santa! Q: Why are all of you dressed like Santa?  A: Because it's Christmas! Q: Where are you going next? A: I'm only allowed to tell you if you buy me a drink. The "schedule" is open to liberal interpretation by Santa at all times.There is no Santa in charge to call. If you can't show up for the start, get the cell number of someone who can help you catch up later. Be Jolly! Be Merry! Be Nice! Bring small gifts (Dollar store is great for this!), candy canes for the good boys and girls or brussel sprouts/coal for the naughty. Watching Santa get drunk and rowdy is fun. Have fun, but don’t get SO jolly that you require babysitting. Pace yourself. Don't be THAT Santa.Santa doesn't drink and drive and neither should you! Remember that Santae look out for each other, so We do not condone or encourage any kind of vandalism or violence at a Santacon event. Our santas do not destroy property, steal merchandise or do harm to others. You will be put on the naughty list and you will not be welcome to join in our reindeer games. Pay with Cash! - Just imagine if you're a bartender trying to keep up with dozens of tabs and everyone looks like Santa. It'll make life easier for you too because you won't have to tab out when it comes time to leave. Some of the places on Santa's list might be very quick stops - 1 hour or less - so running a tab will lead to time being wasted or you being left behind. Tip the bartenders/wait staff generously for putting up with Santa. We want to be able to do this again so be polite and cultivate the goodwill of the local community.  Santae look out for each other!
