Our program is based on the highly recognized French national curriculum enriched by key American courses including Language Arts, Literature, Writing, World Geography, Spelling, and Mathematics that allow flexibility and academic transfer to the best High schools schools and colleges in the world. The curriculum fosters self-respect and the respect of others. Students acquire a structured body of general knowledge and develop analytical and critical thinking skills. Austin French for Kids is a small and unique environment that promotes initiative, autonomy, cooperation among peers, and individual responsibility, qualities that are critical to the success of thriving young adults.

French School of Austin is a preparatory French Immersion Program, non-sectarian, privately and family owned, where the talents of bright and motivated children are recognized, nurtured and developed to their full potential. The best education develops individual potential, and that is central to the ethos of the program. By keeping our classroom ratios very small and recognizing that every child is unique, the program is able to provide opportunities that allow each child to reach his or her maximum potential in a language immersion context. The program’s ultimate goal is to prepare students for life by giving them a gift of academic excellence and of a second, relevant language (French). Run by experienced and qualified Native Speakers and teachers known for their education, enthusiasm and experience, our programs are built on 30 years of experience of academic excellence and expertise in developing effective language immersion programs for all levels.
