Frontier International Academy (situated in the old and historic St. Florian Catholic High School) is located in Hamtramck, Michigan. It opened to students in 2005 and serves students 9th through 12th grade (high school). Frontier International Academy is a public school academy that adheres to all mandated regulations of the Michigan Department of Education. In 2013, FIA moved from the old St. Florian High School to it's new, permanent location on Conant St. We have more space, more autonomy, and more students! Our school prides itself on strong character education, an excellent group of certified teachers, a curriculum that exceeds Michigan standards, small class sizes, and a family-like environment. Frontier International Academy also has a strong ELL department that helps newcomers. The school offers Arabic as a foreign language, a full day kindergarten, advanced classes, and a required dress code.

Named to honor the former Superintendent of Detroit Public Schools, it was dedicated in 1955.Cody serves Brightmoor, the Rosedale Park Historic District, Warrendale, and a section of Old Redford.
