Thanks for visiting Full of Grace! I'm Dana McCune, a trained & experienced birth doula serving the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver Area. After working in a few different fields and wishing I was doing birth work, I finally took the DONA training a few years ago and have never looked back. I believe that every woman has the ability and strength to bring life into this world with incredible grace, and I know that your idea of a great birth is unique and beautiful. Much of my experience is through the wonderful Community Birth Program in Surrey, where I served dozens of families with different needs, lifestyles, and backgrounds, supporting clients anywhere from Delta to Chilliwack. Life with a new baby is a big adjustment! Recently I decided to incorporate my second love, cooking, and offer postpartum meal services. I am FoodSafe certified, and can provide you with simple, healthy & hearty freezer meals, so you can relax and focus on being a new family. Regular birth doula services include: - one meet & greet to see if we're a good fit - two prenatal home visits - info & research tailored to your needs - guidance to many different resources - on-call availability for your labour, birth, & immediate postpartum period - two postpartum home visits - Phone & text support for 6 weeks postpartum I am currently only taking two clients per month, and I would love for one of them to be you!
The Fraser Valley Maternity Group is a team of midwives and doctors who work together to provide women, babies and families with comprehensive maternity care. Our services are covered by MSP (BC medical). We have clinics in Abbotsford and Mission.
