Emmaus Furniture Mine, owned by Emmaus Potteries, collects donations of unwanted but re-usable furniture and pass them on to the vulnerable or households in need around the local community. Emmaus Furniture Mine is owned by Emmaus Potteries, a local charity supporting the most vulnerable in society, especially those who have experienced homelessness. We collect unwanted furniture such as beds, wardrobes, sofas, mattresses and tables and other household items such as bric-a-brac, small electrical items which we sell on through our two shops as well as donating items to those who cannot afford to buy them. Description
Emmaus Furniture Mine collects donations of unwanted but re-usable furniture and pass them on to the vulnerable or households in need around the local community. The enterprise is now owned and managed by Emmaus Potteries since we took it over on 1st September 2017. Emmaus Potteries, the owner of Emmaus Furniture Mine, is a local charity that is the largest furniture re-use charity in North Staffordshire. We sell hundreds of donated items of furniture and household goods every week to generate the essential resources to support the most vulnerable in our communities. Please support us to support others! We are open to everyone to buy from us, we accept donations off residents and businesses across North Staffs, and we have lots of volunteering opportunities too!

Emmaus Furniture Mine also provides training opportunities and positive routes into full time work for volunteers and young learners. Since opening as a charity we have provided opportunities for hundreds of volunteers/learners who help deliver our service. These positive experiences equip individuals with skills and confidence to help progression into full time work.
