Everyone is welcome to stop in as our guest and check out the Gaelic League, and join the fun with our many events. Ask one of our great bartenders for an Irish-American membership! All are welcome to purchase an Irish-American League membership. If you wish to become a Gaelic League member, you must first be a member of the Irish-American Club for two years and demonstrate an active and contributing presence at the Gaelic League. Every Wednesday night, the Gaelic League hosts an Irish traditional music sessuin from 7:30 until 10:30 p.m.. Among the wonderfully talented musicians are Alison Perkins (Finvarra's Wren) on fiddle and Nick Brown on Uilleann Pipes. The Gaelic League hopes to have many of you visit tonight and future Wednesday evenings for great music, drinks, craic and conversation!

Just a reminder that the Halfway to St. Patrick's Day beer tasting is under two weeks away! Tickets are available for about another week; remember that they are advance sales only! $20 gets you in for beer samples, snacks, and good times from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, September 13. Don't forget to bring back-to-school supplies (free will donations also accepted) for the Most Holy Trinity school in Detroit. Hope to see you there!

The entertainment schedule has been switched around a little this month. Instead of the Codger's, Terry Murphy and Frank Kennedy will be playing tomorrow, Saturday the 7th. and the Codger's will play on Saturday, June 28. McSpillin will play on Saturday, June 14 and Terry Murphy will play on Saturday, June 21. Please spread the word. Of course the talented Larry Larson will be playing every Friday.

One month left until the Beer Tasting! Remember to get your tickets in advance-- no sales at the door! Don't forget that we're collecting supplies for Most Holy Trinity K-8 school in Detroit. Right now is a great time to pick up pencils, crayons, markers, pencils, rulers, calculators, backpacks, book sleeves, notebooks, folders, glue sticks... you get the point! We'll also have a money collection box on site at the event.

We just posted a very cool upcoming event! We will premiere "The Cormack Brothers " at the Gaelic League on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 7 PM. The cost is $10. The film director Alan Brown will be coming over from Ireland/UK to premiere and host a Q&A session after the film. He also has other films, some that are award winning. Please see the event page for more details. We would love to give Alan a warm Detroit welcome!
