Ceud mile failte! Beginners Scottish Gaelic classes from complete basics up to being able to read, write and speak in what was one of Scotland's native tongues. Course based on "Speaking Our Language" and "Gaidhlig Bheo"- the old O Level Gaelic material.
Based on traditional Gaelic resources such as "Speaking Our Language" and "Gaidhlig Bheo", this course introduces the basics of reading, speaking and writing in Scottish Gaelic. Traditional spellings are used, which is not what is being used in schools now; because this is aimed at adults, grammar forms a big part of the course, rather than pure conversation. Gaelic is a fantastic Celtic tongue and should be approached as any new language. Speakers of Scots and German will be at an advantage in terms of finding pronunciation easier. Tha mi'n dochas gum bi sibh ag ionnsachadh Gaidhlig!
