Description

About the Instructor: Rachel brings with her over twenty years of ballet and jazz training, the majority of which she received in the Portland Metro area of Oregon. A recent transplant to the Bay Area, Rachel could not be more excited and eager to offer her own classes with Galaxy Dance! For the last seven years Rachel has been working as a professional dancer, with credit's including portraying the famous Disney Princess “Ariel” in Tokyo Disney's “Under the Sea” as well as performing as an aerialist/dancer/diver in Tokyo Disney's “Mystic Rhythms”. Rachel was a cheerleader for the Portland Winterhawks professional Hockey team as well as worked as a performer in the opening cast of the largest casino/resort in Macau, China. She has had the opportunity and privilege of traveling to both the East and West Coast, Caribbean Islands, South Pacific, British Isles, Europe, Canada, and Mexico all while performing for Royal Caribbean Productions and Princess Cruises. Rachel strives to create a positive, fun and uplifting classroom environment for her students while still placing a strong emphasize on technique and discipline.
