Gardyne Studios in partnership with Creative Scotland, DC Thomson and Radio Tay, are inviting 8 young bands / singer songwriters to apply for the opportunity to be involved in their exciting new music development program at Gardyne Studios. The program offers the opportunity for young musicians in the Tayside area to participate in a mentoring program, designed to develop and support young musicians, and includes allocated time in the Gardyne recording studio to produce material that will contribute towards a CD album, showcasing their work and achievements. Also as part of the program, participants will have the opportunity to perform live at the Gardyne Theatre in a showcase event that will include an industry specialist music panel, offering advise and support on the many aspects of the music industry. The program will also offer the opportunity for 16 young people interested in studio recording and live sound to participate in the program, to explore the practices and procedures within sound engineering and production. Wanted 8 bands / singer songwriters 16 young people who are interested in studio recording and live sound.
