Welcome to Gastroenterology Specialist of Birmingham, P.C. We are a comprehensive gastroenterology practice that has a very strong commitment to our patients. We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality gastrointestinal consultative and endoscopic services in the most appropriate manner. Our goal is to deliver such care in a patient-focused and personal atmosphere. We offer such services in an inpatient and outpatient setting as necessary. Our physicians are highly skilled in general gastrointestinal disorders as well as EGD (endoscopy) and colonoscopy. We perform consultative services in more complex gastrointestinal disorders including second opinions if necessary. Our practice includes physicians with advanced endoscopic training in procedures such as ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), ERCP with manometry, cholangioscopy (direct viewing of the bile duct), EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), and EMR (resection of the lining of a portion of the intestine).
