The GLCC has been Pittsburgh's LGBTQ Community Center since 1982. We are an all volunteer organization located in downtown Pgh. The GLCC Is Pittsburgh's LGBTQ community center, located in Downtown Pgh. We provide a range of services and programs to support the LGBTQ community and our allies both on-site and in the community.

Description
The Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Pittsburgh (GLCC) provides gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) individuals, their families, and supporters in Western Pennsylvania, with resources and opportunities to promote visibility, understanding and equality within the LGBTQ+ communities and the community at large. We accomplish this through strong partnerships with volunteers, partnerships with public and private organizations and those we serve. We rely on the active involvement of caring individuals, congregations and other community organizations.

At the Gay & Lesbian Community Center we work to overcome the social and economic barriers that prevent individuals and families from achieving their goals, we value empathy, compassion and respect,we listen to and share with one another. We value open, honest and nonjudgmental interactions, and we actively seek to promote the GLCC’s mission through education, social support, networking and advocacy among a broad spectrum of individuals, congregations and community organizations, we have faith that our work will lead to positive change for individuals and the community, we help people in need achieve their goals by providing information, support and access to resources, and we work together to achieve GLCC’s mission by respecting each partner’s strengths and contributions.Company Rating
