Imagine the convenience of having perfectly applied make up all day, every day! Permanent Cosmetics is a highly skilled procedure in which hypoallergenic pigments are introduced to the skin. This creates a shadow of colour that mimics the most perfectly applied make up in soft natural tones of colour and because the pigment sits in the skin, the effects remain with you 24 hours a day. Semi permanent makeup is a great solution if you have experienced hair loss commonly associated with alopecia, chemotherapy treatment, or even just years of over plucking. It is also great for women that just simply want to save time and effort on doing their makeup every morning! With regards to brow enhancements, there is absolutely no hair removal in the tattoo process and I aim to work with your existing hair as this creates a much more natural finish. Semi Permanent Makeup is done by tattoo method and goes into the second layer of the skin. It can last anything between 10 months and up to 2 years depending on the person and their skin type, sun exposure, immune system and some other factors. Some people will need more top ups than others. All treatments require 2 procedures within 4-8 weeks of each other to get the maximised perfect result you desire as well as the longevity. For each appointment you need to allow 120 minutes. This includes an in depth 30 minute consultation. The second procedure is around 90 minutes I am based in Bridgewater House Salon in Bath every Tuesday and Clifton Hair Studio the rest of the week working evenings on a Thursday. The reason my top up prices are so low is to encourage regular top ups and colours boosts. The difference in the two prices is to make it fair on the ladies that come back more regularly, either due to personal preference or because their skin doesn't hold the pigment as well as others. Semi permanent makeup is not a set in stone science therefore I cannot take responsibility for how long the pigment lasts in your skin, its down to the individuals skin, how well the aftercare instructions are adhered too as well as other variable factors. There is a full range of colour pigments to choose from. Starting from extremely light blonde to black so we will always find one perfectly suited to you. All procedures will be between 40-70% darker for the first 5 days and will then heal to a more natural finish. I ensure to give all my clients verbal and written advice on how to look after you new SPMU whilst it's healing. Please remember you cannot take part in semi permanent makeup if you are any of the following: Under the age of 18 years of age Pregnant Breastfeeding Are haemophiliac Have hepatitis C Are 5 weeks pre/post radio/chemo treatment Those using Antabuse/rooaccutane or warfarin Those with visible evidence of coldsore/blisters or skin disorders on the area to be treated Those under the influence of drugs and alcohol Are epileptic and have had a seizure within the last 2 years Please be aware that full fee will be charged if 24 hours notice of a cancellation is not given.
