GENOME - The Fertility Centre, started its journey in 2005 at the iconic Bhagirathi Neotia Woman & Child Care Centre as a single department under the name of “GENOMEe – The Fertility clinic” with the objective of dealing and coping with the issues of infertility in a comprehensive manner. The name however was transformed to “GENOME – THE FERTILITY CENTRE” over the years in view of the division’s expansion from a single clinic to multi-locational centres in Kolkata (2 centres), Siliguri, Medinipur to begin with followed by plans of expansion in Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Patna, Raipur etc. Since its inception, GENOME has established itself as a leading and credible name for the treatment of infertility in eastern part of India. The Infrastructure ~ GENOME - The Fertility Centre is a single stop facility for all fertility related issues and needs, offering a highly trained team of Doctors who have specialized in Reproductive Medicine or have been trained exclusively in Reproductive Medicine at Israel with whose collaboration and technical knowledge the unit was established 9 years back, the only such centre where the Embryology Team comprises of PhD in Clinical Embryology or trained exclusively at Israel in an atmosphere that is patient centric respecting the privacy & dignity of its patients. also facilitating third party services needs like Donors and Surrogates. It is also extremely watchful of maintaining practices that are transparent, ethical and in complete adherence with all the applicable statutory Guidelines. In addition there is a lot of focus and emphasis on research and training, with dedicated training modules for in house staff, clinicians and embryologists. Each centre of GENOME is structured and designed keeping in mind International benchmarks.
