It's 2016. Time to stand up to discrimination. Get REAL is a student-run, non profit initiative promoting inclusivity for everyone. We are a movement of university students across Canada who speak to high schools about unlearning LGBTQ discrimination and bullying, and creating an inclusive environment for every student. We are open to any and all who wish to stand up and speak out against discrimination. Get REAL is more than a non-profit, and more than an organization; we are a generation of likeminded students who work tirelessly to change homophobic language and attitudes in any way possible.
It's 2016, it’s time to stand up to discrimination. With the mandate of "Reaching Equality At Last" Get REAL is a student-run, not-for-profit initiative started by students to work towards eliminating homophobia, and creating a safe space for all, on campus, as well as in the broader Kingston community. Get REAL seeks to eliminate LGBT discrimination and bullying, and promote inclusivity for everyone. Our primary mandate is to speak to students in person - at our high school and middle school presentations. We welcome everyone and anyone, so shoot us an email at getrealqueens@gmail.com to get involved!
