So who is George? George is a loving family dog from Tucson, Arizona USA who was awarded the Guinness World Record for Tallest Dog in the World and Tall Dog Ever in February 2010. So how big was he... he measured 43 inches tall (1.092m) and weighted 245 lbs. He was a AKC registered Blue Great Dane. In September 2012, George passed his "crown" and title to Zeus. George lived a full life and passed away October 2013, almost reaching his 8th birthday. George's great personality and character live on through his Facebook page, charitable givings, and the many great fans who still keep his memory alive.
